The Future Stars Academy (FSA) is seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Community Organisers. If you have a passion for leading and organising programmes, projects, clubhouses, teams, and activities within local communities and rural areas, we want to hear from you. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in community engagement and development.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated community organisers who want to gain experience leading and organising FSA programmes, projects, clubhouses, teams and activities within local communities and rural areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:

  • Lead and organise FSA programmes, projects, clubhouses, teams, and activities within local communities and rural areas.
  • Build strong relationships with community members, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.

2. Communication and Engagement Skills:

  • Demonstrate great communication and engagement skills.
  • Passionately work within the community area you oversee, understanding and addressing its unique needs.

3. Community Meetings and Sessions:

  • Dedicate at least 2 hours per week to community meetings.
  • Facilitate and attend sessions as needed, contributing to the success of FSA programmes.

4. Flexible Work Patterns:

  • Adhere to the required work pattern, including weekdays and weekends, to accommodate community schedules.
  • Be available for community-specific times, especially during Summer, Easter, and Half-Term.

5. Commitment:

  • Provide a year of commitment to your chosen club and council, ensuring reliability, consistency, and dedication.
  • Uphold the FSA ethos of building a strong foundation among young people, communities, and teams.

Time Commitment:

  • Community Area Management: 8 hours per week / 1 day per week / 12 months
  • Community Marketing: 6 hours per week / 1 day per week / 6 weeks - 10 months
  • Community Distribution: 10 hours / 2 - 3 days per week / 3 - 12 months
  • Community Support: 4 - 10 hours per week / 2 - 5 days per week / 4 weeks - 12 months
  • Community Development: 6 - 24 hours per week / 1 - 5 days per week / 3 - 12 months
  • Session Volunteer: 2 - 4 hours per week / 1 - 4 days per week / 12 weeks - 12 months
