The Future Stars Academy (FSA) is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join us as Clubs & Council Organisers. If you have excellent communication and engagement skills, coupled with a genuine passion for working within specific areas, we invite you to oversee and contribute to the success of our diverse Clubs & Councils.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated volunteers who want to gain experience leading and organising the activities of our clubs and councils. These include: 

  • The Youth Council
  • The Rap Council

  • The Under 5's Club
  • The Sista Network
  • The King's Club
  • The Kid Creators Club
  • The Young Creators Club
  • The Creators Club
  • The Seniors Society
  • The Urban Creative Network
  • The Nu Pioneers Club
  • The Big Breakfast Club
  • The Dog & Bone Club

1. Club & Council Oversight:

  • Lead and organise activities, meetings, and sessions for the assigned Clubs & Councils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment within each club or council.

2. Communication and Engagement Skills:

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and engagement skills.
  • Passionately work within the specific area you oversee, understanding and addressing its unique needs.

3. Meetings and Sessions:

  • Dedicate at least 2 hours per week to Club/Council meetings.
  • Facilitate and attend sessions as a Club Manager, Club Facilitator, Council Leader, or Council Secretary.

4. Flexible Work Patterns:

  • Adhere to the required work pattern, including weekdays, weekends, and specific times based on each Club or Council's schedule.
  • Be available for club or council-specific times, especially during Summer, Easter, and Half-Term.

5. Commitment:

  • Provide a year of commitment to your chosen Club and Council, ensuring reliability, consistency, and dedication.
  • Uphold the FSA ethos of building a strong foundation among young people, communities, and teams.

Time Commitment:

  • Club Manager: 4 hours per week / 1 day per week / 12 months
  • Club Facilitator: 2 hours per week / 1 day per week / 10 months
  • Council Leader: 4 hours per week / 1 day per week / 10 months
  • Council Chairman: 10 weeks
  • Council Secretary: 2 hours per week / 1 day per week / 10 months
  • Session Volunteer: 2 - 4 hours per week / 1 day per week / 12 weeks

Becoming an FSA Club or Council Organiser: Being an FSA Clubs & Council Organiser is a rewarding experience for both yourself and the members you support. The councils offer an opportunity to steer the development of personal, professional, and extra-curricular activities within the academy. The clubs offer individuals personal and/or professional support networks that cater to specialist and individual needs.

Training Opportunities: Free Training is provided to FSA volunteers to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the development of clubs and councils. Join our team and make a positive impact on the personal and professional growth of our community!
