Vocal/Performance Coach Trainer

The Future Star Academy is seeking dedicated Vocal and/or Performance Coach Trainers to contribute to the development of our future stars in the field of music. If you are a qualified and enthusiastic vocal trainer with a passion for coaching and developing talent, we invite you to join our team.

As a Vocal/Performance Coach Trainer at FSA, you will play a vital role in supporting the training of FSA music students by delivering our comprehensive vocal training and performance techniques program. We are seeking trainers from diverse musical backgrounds, including Pop, Opera, RnB, Gospel/Soul, Jazz/Nu soul, Indie/Rock, Folk, Hi life/Afrobeat, Dancehall/Reggae.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach FSA students in vocal training exercises and techniques to enhance the quality of their vocal performances.
  • Deliver in-house training sessions to support the development of FSA music students.
  • Stay in touch with current musical trends and popular culture.
  • Adapt teaching methods for different capabilities and age groups.
  • Maintain a consistent and clear teaching pace.
  • Collaborate with the management team to handle programming, scheduling, and administrative needs.
  • Offer private one-to-one, group, or community sessions, either in person or at FSA teaching studios.
  • Encourage and support the growth of your class through online media platforms.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or trained in vocal training techniques.
  • Experience in a variety of music genres, especially Pop, Opera, RnB, Gospel/Soul, Jazz/Nu soul, Indie/Rock, Folk, Hi life/Afrobeat, Dancehall/Reggae.
  • Must be in touch with current musical trends and up-to-date with popular music and culture.
  • Teaching experience is favored, but training will be provided to selected candidates.
  • DBS checked due to working with children (paid for by FSA).
  • Able to teach vocal/performance coaching in a clear and timely pace.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated.
  • Performance experience is desirable.

Salary/Payment: Hourly pay dependent on experience, paid weekly.
