Dance Tutors & Choreographers

The Future Star Academy is seeking passionate and qualified dancers, choreographers, or dance teachers to join our team as Dance Tutors/Choreographers. If you are trained to a professional level in a specific dance style, have a genuine interest in teaching, and wish to contribute to the development of future stars, we invite you to be part of our dynamic team.

As a Dance Tutor/Choreographer at FSA, you will play a vital role in supporting the training of FSA dance students through the delivery of our dance and choreography training program. We are currently seeking individuals experienced in the following dance styles and music genres:

1. Contemporary
2. Ballet
3. Modern Jazz
4. Hip Hop/Street
5. Afrobeat
6. Traditional African Dance
7. Dancehall
8. Caribbean Dance (Soca/Calypso)
9. Traditional Ballroom
10. Latin Dance (Inc Salsa and Reggaeton)
11. Folk Dance (including Irish dancing)
12. Bollywood & Bhangra Dance
13. Arabian Dance

Responsibilities:

• Coach FSA students in the specific dance style to a professional level.
• Deliver training programs in dance and choreography in a clear and timely pace.
• Adapt teaching methods for different capabilities and ages.
• Collaborate with the management team to handle programming, scheduling, and administrative needs.
• Provide private one-to-one, group, or community sessions, either in person or at FSA teaching studios.

Requirements:

• Trained or qualified in the specific dance style to a professional level.
• Experience in a wide variety of music is preferred.
• Teaching experience is favoured, but training will be provided to selected candidates.
• DBS checked due to working with children (paid for by FSA).
• Ability to teach dance and/or choreography in a clear and timely pace.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated.
• Performance experience is desirable.
