About the Programme:
The FSA Youth Council & Leadership Programme is designed to empower young minds aged 16-24 with the knowledge and skills to become effective leaders, understand the legal system, and contribute to a safer and more harmonious community.
Skills Taught:
Legal Understanding: Gain insights into the legal system, focusing on laws and policies affecting the lives of young people.
Leadership Skills: Develop crucial leadership qualities through workshops on public speaking, debate, speech writing, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Conflict Resolution: Acquire skills in conflict resolution to address grievances, promoting a safe space for dialogue and understanding.

Programme Structure:
Monthly Local Area Meetings: Youth Leadership groups meet monthly to discuss local concerns, plan initiatives, and participate in skill-building workshops.
Quarterly Youth Leaders Gatherings: Leaders from each local area convene quarterly to share experiences, discuss strategies, and engage in advanced leadership training.
Annual Youth Council Gathering: All Youth Council groups come together annually to celebrate achievements, share successes, and plan for future initiatives.
Community Court: The Youth Council holds the power to form a court, presided over by a judge and jury, to scrutinize and resolve petty differences and local issues. This aims to prevent escalation and create resolutions between individuals and groups.
