About Us: The Future Stars Academy (FSA) is dedicated to supporting individuals in their personal and professional journeys. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as FSA PPD Mentors, providing guidance and mentorship to students and members participating in further & higher education, career development, and business enterprise. Whether you have previous mentoring experience or are looking to gain a qualification in mentoring, we welcome your commitment to making a positive impact.

Position Overview: As an FSA PPD Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students and members across various fields of interest, including music, dance, drama, film, TV & animation, art & design, business & enterprise, sports leadership, health & fitness, technology & innovation, and more. Your responsibilities will include providing mentorship, assisting with application processes, conducting interviews, preparing for auditions and tests, and supporting individuals in making positive life choices. This role requires attendance at both online and in-person sessions, as well as participation in meetings, trips, and outings when required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide mentorship and guidance to students and members in their personal and professional development.
  2. Support individuals in making positive life choices and navigating educational and career paths.
  3. Assist with application processes, interviews, auditions, and test preparation.
  4. Attend online and in-person sessions, meetings, and participate in trips and outings.
  5. Collaborate with other mentors and FSA staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn and commit to the role of a mentor.
  • Availability to attend both online and in-person sessions, meetings, and events.
  • Qualification in Counselling, Education & Child Development, or Health & Social care is an advantage.
  • Background or experience in one or more of the specified areas of interest.
